Bob McLeod's Youngster

The aircraft has been modified to accomidate a Rotax 582 water cooled 65 horse engine consequentlythe nose is a little longer than normal.  I have wheel pants, hydraulic brakes, good instrumentation and a canopy that I made myself.  That was a great addition since our field altitude is 6875 feet and it gets cold here in Colorado.
The plane climbs at about 750 fpm at 50 mph and cruises at 75 + mph indicated which is about 90 mph at this alt.  Love the bird . It really is stable. Flys hands off.
