Eduardo Gutierrez's Horizon II

Gentlemen:

I am pleased to tell you that Fisher Flying's Horizon II, serial number HO2149, built in Santa Cruz, Bolivia(South America) flew successfully  at 8:25 local time on October 22, 2002 in it's maiden flight which lasted 31 minutes, flying over the field. Pilot in command, Eduardo Gutiérrez S. and owner-builder. The Horizon II sports a Jabiru six-cylinder, 120 hp engine and an constant speed electric MT propeller, a combination which pulls it rather briskly on take-off and have attained 95 mph speed with low power
settings ( 2200 rpm and 22 inches manifold). It flies hands off and the landings with no flaps, 1/2 flaps and full flaps are a joy. I've manage to log only two more hours mostly due to messy local flying conditions(storms and high winds). I'll try to send you a photo of this beautiful aircraft. Eduardo can be reached at lopeco@infonet.com.bo.

   Regards, Eduardo
